Creative Events Brazil Exibições e Feiras Ltda., organizer of LAAD Defence & Security, is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, suppliers, service providers, and other event participants.

This Policy establishes how personal data is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected, in accordance with Brazilian Federal Law No. 13,709/2018 – Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

Creative Events Brazil adopts appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or improper processing.

• organize and manage the participation of visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and suppliers;

• analyze event attendance, traffic, and use of event areas;
• provide services related to the event;
• conduct satisfaction surveys and improve our services;
• send information, notices, newsletters, invitations, and information about LAAD and other events promoted by Creative Events Brazil.

Data subjects may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

The applicable legal grounds may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal or regulatory obligations, legitimate interest, protection of life, and consent, depending on the purpose and applicable legislation.

5. Badge Scanning

By voluntarily allowing an exhibitor, sponsor, or partner to scan your badge during the event, certain professional and contact information associated with your badge may be shared with that company.

Following such sharing, the receiving company will be responsible for processing the data received in accordance with applicable legislation.

6. Photography, Filming, Image and Voice

LAAD Defence & Security may include photographic, audiovisual, journalistic, and institutional coverage carried out by Creative Events Brazil or authorized professionals.

Photographs, videos, and voice recordings may be captured in exhibition halls, corridors, auditoriums, ceremonies, exhibition areas, and other areas related to the event.

When such recordings enable an individual to be identified, image and voice will be treated as personal data in accordance with the LGPD.

Authorization for the Use of Image and Voice

Where applicable and subject to the appropriate legal basis, participants may authorize Creative Events Brazil to capture and use their image and voice for institutional, informational, journalistic, promotional, advertising, historical, and LAAD-related communication purposes, including the promotion of future editions.

Such content may be used on websites, social media, presentations, newsletters, institutional and promotional materials, press materials, videos, campaigns, and other communication channels of Creative Events Brazil and LAAD.

When processing is based on consent, the data subject may withdraw such consent by contacting Creative Events Brazil, subject to uses lawfully carried out prior to withdrawal and other circumstances permitted by law.

For individual recordings or productions in which a specific person is the primary subject, specific image-use authorization may be requested.

7. Data Sharing

Personal data may be shared, when necessary, with suppliers and partners involved in the organization of the event, including companies providing:

• accreditation and technology;
• logistics and transportation;
• security;
• infrastructure and stand construction;
• communications and audiovisual services;
• customer service and operational support.

Data sharing will be limited to the information necessary for each purpose.

I declare that I have read and understood the LAAD Defence & Security Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy and, where applicable, I freely, knowingly, and unequivocally authorize Creative Events Brazil Exibições e Feiras Ltda. to capture and use my image and voice recorded during the event for institutional, informational, journalistic, promotional, and LAAD-related communication purposes, in accordance with this Policy and Brazilian Federal Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD).

I understand that, where processing is based on my consent, I may withdraw such consent by submitting a request to Creative Events Brazil, subject to uses lawfully carried out prior to withdrawal and other circumstances permitted by law.
